témavezetés leírása
Circular Economy (CE) and Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) are the emerging sustainability development concepts that received significant attention among scholars and practitioners. The concept circular economy has been advocated as a strategy that can help to boost economic growth while also addressing environmental and resource concerns. Similarly, GSCM is primarily focused on enhancing environmental performance, but it may also be linked to greater economic performance. Considering the importance of these concepts, this study plans to examine the effects of circular economy and green supply chain management activities on a firm''s perceived financial, environmental, and economic performances. In doing so, a quantitative, cross-sectional, and correlational study will be conducted. In light of extensive literature review and existing theories, a research model with two higher order predictors (CE and GSCM) and three outcome variables i.e., perceived financial, environmental, and competitive performance will be tested. As the performances are perceived, the perception of respondents will be evaluated though structured questionnaire. There are three selected components of circular economy that will be represented in this research for instance, “reinvent and rethink”, “restore and reduce”, and ‘recirculate’. On the other hand, green supply chain management has several dimensions indicated by prior scholars however this study will demonstrate three dimensions such as, green purchasing, eco design, and reverse logistics for empirical investigation. Data will be collected from a cross-cultural perspective. Besides, partial least square structural equation modeling 3rd generation software will be used to examine the measurement model, structural model, and hypotheses testing. Moreover, for data input and descriptive analysis SPSS will also be utilized. It is expected that CE and GSCM will be positively and significantly related to firms'' perceived financial, environmental and economic performances. The findings are expected to help the scholars in theory development. In addition, practitioners will certainly be motivated to adopt green business model to achieve improved performances.
