Higher education as an integral part of the national education system cannot escape the new paradigm, especially in the disrupted era of Industry 4.0. Higher education management policies must be more open, transparent, and accountable. This study offers an idea to build Quality Assurance Management with Six Sigma Principles to respond to national and global challenges. Higher education must at least be able to prepare students to deal with three things: 1. Prepare the student to work the dynamic of the work environment. 2. Prepare the student to solve problems that have not yet arisen. 3. Prepare the student to use technology where technology has not yet been discovered. Higher education plays an essential requirement that must be met to prepare qualified and competent teachers. The application of the Six Sigma model is expected to bring significant changes in the educational process, not only in the preparation of the curriculum, but all systems in higher education institutions, in this case, are universities in Indonesia. Therefore, this research will contribute to the national economy by increasing employment, poverty alleviation, and income inequality.
