The aim of the interdisciplinary project is exploring the potentials of the arts & humanities in sensitivization of medical professionals of dentistry and surgery. Plastic and reconstructive surgeons, maxillofacial specialists, medical staff working with all aspects of the bodyshape are in needing of non-manual skills medical humanities can offer. A systemic approach is planned with clearly defined endpoints. Modes of mutually beneficial interactions between manual and non manual skills are to be investigated.
