The doctoral research focuses on the health technology assessment (HTA) of digital health technologies (DHTs) across Europe. It aims to identify barriers to market access and reimbursement, while exploring adaptations required for fit-for-purpose evaluation of DHTs. Particular emphasis is placed on aligning assessment frameworks with industry perspectives, challenges and needs, and on supporting the development of a flexible and dynamic HTA framework that enables timely access and fosters innovation in the European region.
