With the revolution in machine translation, the significance of considering context in translation studies has grown substantially. Research on this topic examines the challenges posed by context-dependent elements in meaning and interpretation during translation. It pays special attention to situational, cultural, and intertextual factors that influence meaning beyond the sentence level, while also affecting lexical, phraseological, and syntactic choices. A key focus is identifying where even the most advanced machine translation systems still encounter difficulties in this regard. The research aims to contribute to the development of approaches and methodological solutions that enhance accuracy and relevance in specific communicative environments.
