Various technological solutions for intelligent (or smart) pedestrian crossings have recently been implemented; however, their safety has not yet been evaluated. This research aims to evaluate how these solutions are perceived by drivers and pedestrians, using a combination of gaze behaviour and subjective safety analysis.
