description
In photogrammetry, several steps in the orientation and evaluation process of images can be automated. During the production of the spatial model, during the relative orientation, it is necessary to measure common points. At the same time, in the case of a large number of images, there is a need to implement the orientation using automated correlation procedures with pattern and shape matching algorithms. These algorithms
can also be combined with each other, based on which unique methods can be developed that can be optimized for the given image processing task. The developed procedures can also be applied in other fields (robot vision, automated shape recognition in industrial processes).
Research purposes:
Investigation of the automation of photogrammetric orientations (internal, relative, absolute). Development of new pattern and shape matching algorithms, combination and optimization of existing methods for relative orientation of digital stereo image pairs, 3D modelling.
