"In autonomous systems and robots, fast and precise path planning is a prerequisite for the successful performance of the movement task. There are many ways to control this task. The problem to be solved is in the area of simultaneous fulfillment of the opposite conditions of computational speed and precision. The increasing speed of autonomous operation pushes the limits of the applicability of the traditional planning algorithms.
This research focuses on developing such planning methods, where these boundaries can be extended, for example a local planner built on a predefined graph-based moving window."
