The aim of the research is to gather and analyse empirical data on a semantic/pragmatic phenomenon (such as quantification, vagueness, reference, deixis, (scalar) implicatures, speech acts, irony, presupposition) with the help of experimental and quantitative methods. Data collection is primarily limited to English and/or Hungarian, bot other cross-linguistic investigations are also possible
