Workplace vulnerability is a multifaceted issue influenced by exposure to hazards, inadequate protective measures, psychological stressors, and adverse employment conditions. These risks are amplified in small and medium-sized enterprises, which face unique challenges in complying with occupational health and safety regulations despite their critical role in the global economy. Limited financial resources, lack of specialized expertise, and competing business priorities hinder SMEs from implementing comprehensive safety programs, leaving them particularly vulnerable to occupational hazards. Non-compliance increases the risk of workplace accidents and exposes businesses to legal and financial repercussions. This study seeks to assess the effectiveness of Occupational Health and Safety training programs on workplace vulnerability literacy and compliance with safety standards among small and medium enterprises. The study will adopt a matched non-equivalent quasi-experimental study design.
