Application of descriptive and analytical epidemiological methods known from the literature in relation to the questions to be answered and the available data on drug consumption. The selection of data sources should always weigh the advantages and disadvantages of direct data from patients and data from consumption databases. The overall objective, which is to focus on which group of medicines is used, is to analyze the rationality of therapy with a view to improving it.
