1. Field surveys on road users perception considering psychological factorsand current situation i.e. speed limit, road categories, side friction such as local market, mixed traffic, access to residential area. Multivariate models: travel speedson the road section using road layout types, road users characteristics. Speed studies: operation speed investigation on current case study (Pantura Line Arterial road).
2. Review of existing road designsbased on SER measurements: provide orientation, attract attention, promote standardisation, support detection of conflict opponents, improve clarity.
