As greenfield developments are concerned, modeling transport impacts like traffic generation, modal split, parking needs have well-known practices. However, it is not the case for brownfield developments. The main goal of this study is to find a new approach to manage issues related to transport infrastructure implications of brownfield developments.
Research methods should include data collection from case studies from various countries, including collection of legislation practices. These case studies should be analyzed by conventional land-use transport interaction models and new models should be created reflecting specialties of brownfield developments.
