Persian gardens are known for their unique style and identity in the world, with the watering system as one of its main features, displaying great appetence for showing and performing water. Since Iran is in an arid region, one of its main goals would be to reach a better microclimate for its habitants, making water streams necessary for its existence. This present paper aims to analyze the most important principles and the contribution to the world heritage of the persian gardens, and to analayze the influence and the importance of the Persian gaeden culture towards to European garden history and developmnet.
