Covalent protein modifications became a viable strategy for the discovery of new therapeutic agents and diagnostic tools. During the PhD work, our objective is identifying ligands for therapeutic protein targets with covalent mechanism of action. These compounds might serve as pharmacological tools suitable for the validation of the research concept both in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, based on the covalent modification of antibodies we aim developing new diagnostic agents for oncology indications.
