Developmental aspects of „gifted parents’ children” in the context of the parents’ social acknowledgement

Despite the impact of „gidted parents’ social recognition” on their children’s development is a common topic among lay people and the mass media, there are surprisingly very few research carried out on this topic sincet he beginning of the scientific investigation of giftedness. However, it is a very relevant research topic from many developmental aspects of the children of these parents, eg. these children’s self-assesment, self-efficacy, motivational system, fields of interest, achievement, their beliefs on their optimal self-actualization and so on. The expected research carried out by the PhD-student must be a qualitative one only with a few participants.
