Micro, Small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in maintaining the economy''s dynamism, performance, market competition and employment. Helping this entrepreneurial layer is one of the most important areas of economic policy. Their pace of development depends on many economic, social, financial and political factors. The topic can be studied at a regional, national and international, generally or in a sector.

The aim of the research is to explore the economic characteristics of developing countries and to examine the resulting competitive advantages and disadvantages. It is advisable to review the reasons for the current situation and how to quantify and characterize the phenomenon.

To address this issue, it is necessary to identify the situation, general and specific problems of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as trends in the change of their typical data at regional, national and international levels.

Finally, an economical explanation of the topic and its legality can be explored to allow conclusions to be made to improve the competitiveness of the MSME sector.
