The theory of superstrings moving on the product of the 5 dimensional Anti de Sitter space and the 5 dimensional sphere is equivalent to the maximally supersymmetric 4 dimensional gauge theory. The string theory on this curved background is integrable thus the task of the applicant is to calculate interesting physical observables in the gauge theory by this dual integrable model.
