Valamely kőzettestről szerzett kvantitatív információk elrendezése „felismerő” statisztikai modellben. A mérési információk alapján a kőzettest genetikai elemzése majd a genetikai csoportok megjelenésének felismerhetőségének vizsgálata és az eredmények megfogalmazása a diszkriminancia analízisek segítségével.
