Description of the research topic:

The philosophy of cognitive science addresses philosophical questions to cognitive science itself. The aim of cognitive science is to get a better understanding of how human beings acquire knowledge about the world, therefore it’s achievements contribute to a number of epistemological discussions, and can also be crucial in contemporary philosophy of mind, philosophy of language and moral philosophy. In my research, I’m investigating the philosophical embedding and the philosophical review of cognitive science, and the philosophical trends within cognitive science. I’m focusing at the embodied turn in cognitive science, cognitive semantics based on the embodied view, the narrative and predictive concept of the mind, the metaphysical problems of the Self, and the peer dialogue between embodied cognitive science and Buddhist philosophy of mind.
