Description of the research topic:
The perciform species in Lake Balaton are of high ecological and economic importance. In our project, we aim to determine population structure of Perciformes (especially European perch: Perca fluviatilis L.) and the effects of the environmental factors (such as the West-Eeast trophic gradient, water transparency differences, parasite infections and disturbance) on the morphological differences observed among their stocks.
Further requirements: Proficiency in morphological studies and statistical analysis of extracted data
