The research can focus on various aspects of phonetics but especially on speech prosody and its functional role in the representation of syntactic and semantic structures. In terms of methodology, the researcher has to design and implement perceptual experiments and it is beneficial if they are interested in Acoustic Phonetics and Speech Technology.
