Description of the research topic:

Topics related to the historical, methodological, ideological, political, aesthetic, and generic aspects of representing the past with reference to the critical turn of historiography (Foucault, White), collective memory (Halbwachs), cultural memory (Assmann). In the case of documentary cinema, topics related to films adopting the oral history approach (and featuring victims, survivors, witnesses, perpetrators, veterans, etc.) with reference to ethical issues and relevant theories of visual anthropology are preferred.
