Description of the research topic:

The examination of topics and issues related to the ethical turn in literary studies, especially in contemporary German-language literature, such as the thematization of ethical problems and decision situations; narratives of the relation to the Other and otherness; the ethical implications of literary forms, the relation to language, and narrative strategies; the question of just and ethical reading/interpretation; autobiography as a narrative of judgement and testimony.
