Description of the research topic:

A confluence of transformative forces, including regional industrial evolution, the fragmentation of global supply chains, advancements in automation technologies, and the digital revolution, increasingly shapes the trajectory of labour markets worldwide. The agility with which labour markets adapt to these shifts is pivotal for regions' economic prosperity and resilience in the contemporary global landscape.
Given the pressing issues of skills shortages, mismatches, and migration complexities, establishing an inclusive labour market that reacts swiftly to these challenges and foresees future trends is more urgent than ever. This research dissects the prerequisites for cultivating such an inclusive labour market.
By thoroughly examining historical patterns and future projections in automation, globalisation, and structural changes, we seek to uncover the nuanced conditions that facilitate the integration of labour markets. In doing so, we aspire to contribute to developing robust, adaptive, and equitable employment ecosystems capable of answering the demands of a rapidly evolving world.
