Description of the research topic:
In addition to the development of agriculture, rural development has become increasingly important in rural areas in recent decades. The focus is on developing the local economy and society, as the countryside is no longer just a place for food production, but also a place for the diverse economic, cultural and rural community functions of rural people. At the same time, the structure of support policies has changed, with a reduction in market policy instruments and a greater emphasis on rural development instruments. This provides an opportunity to examine the spatial concentration of different types of support, and the impact of rural development support in stimulating the local economy, retaining rural populations and thus sustaining rural communities.
