Description of the research topic:
Complexes formed by molecules exhibit special chemical and physical properties. These systems can have exciting applications in materials science (e.g., molecules with photovoltaic properties) and biology (e.g., changes in DNA under radiation). In this project, we investigate the excited states of such structures using state-of-the-art quantum chemical methods, mostly developed recently in our group.
Required language skills: English Further requirements: basics of quantum chemistry, some programming knowledge
