Description of the research topic:

The topic covers security challenges of the Latin American subcontinent in the 20th and 21st centuries, especially in the Cold War and post-Cold War period. Areas of analysis may include political, social, economic, environmental and other aspects of security. Exploring causal relationships, interactions, and potential consequences can link multiple levels of analysis, which might be local, national, regional, continental and/ or global.
