Description of the research topic:

Assertivity, violationmanagement and multiculturalism among the medical communication

"Research on aggression and its treatment by means of assertive communication in healthcare is an important area of research on this topic, as is the use of adequate communication tools in different areas of care.
With the spread of globalization, despite the pandemic, healthcare workers must continue to expect an increased number of patients from different cultural backgrounds in healthcare. Research in this area with a dimension of communication, focusing mainly on the avoidance of aggression is not widely conducted in Hungary, despite the fact that, regardless of globalization, there have always been two cultural circles that differ from the norm, and this difference is marked in healthcare. One is the Roma and the other is the Jewish cultural circle. In addition to the multicultural patient care challenges of migration, the research-based mapping of the multiculturalism of these two areas embedded in the Hungarian environment could also represent a significant value among health science research in terms of its practical utilization, too."
