Description of the research topic:

Radiotherapy technology has undergone a revolutionary development in the last 1-2 decades, and new techniques, like IGRT, IMRT, IMAT, SBRT, adaptive RT has become the routine part of the everyday cancer care in every part of the world. Nevertheless, it is extremely important to prove the effectiveness of new radiation treatment methods and their safety in terms of acute side effects and late complications in the daily practice as well, based on real-life data. These important clinical data of the latest years can be collected from the treatment results of the Institute of Oncotherapy, University of Pécs.
