Description of the research topic:
The aim of the study is to explore the relationships between sense of coherence, health behavior, and health status primarily in occupational groups whose direct and indirect health education activities and role modeling significantly influence the lay population. Thus, the investigation focuses primarily on educators, who play a key role in shaping the health behavior of the rising generation, and on healthcare professionals, who serve as role models for patients. The purpose of the study is to uncover the strength of sense of coherence associated with occupational status and its impact on health behavior and health status, as well as to highlight differences between occupational groups. The research also provides an opportunity to compare the sense of coherence and health behavior of individuals working in the preventive sector versus those in clinical care within the framework of healthcare provision. Regarding health status, the research primarily aims to explore mental and psychosomatic illnesses, with particular emphasis on investigating depression and burnout.
