Description of the research topic:

Strengthening media education and media literacy has become one of the most important tools of media policy. Exploiting the benefits and avoiding the risks of the digital media system is less and less possible by legal and administrative means. The importance of media education in the media policy, its role in supporting active, democratically thinking citizens, methodological issues of media literacy, its role in the higher education and teacher training, civil and state institutional background are research topics that can be explored using a variety of backgrounds and research methods.
