Description of the research topic:

They represent a group, which has special difficulties to get supported: they attempt to access healthcare rather through private connections (e.g., friends) or self-referral or self-prescribing. However, in case of mental illness or addiction, these strategies or not beneficial. Similar to doctors, Health care professionals (nurses, etc.) also have high levels of emotional and mental requisition and lower levels of control, two factors, which both boost negative outcomes of stress. Our studies aim the protective factors and also the indicators for mental illness in that specific group.
