Abbreviation of location of studies: ÁOK

Description of the research topic:

Recent discoveries and the striking development of molecular technologies initiated the concept of regenerative medicine. By embracing the grandiosity of this research, we project to effectively treat not only the symptoms, but also the cause of disease in the near future. A pivotal milestone in achieving these goals is an accurate developmental investigation of the various therapeutically appealing target molecules. We hypothesize by utilizing our selected candidates we will be capable of regenerating damaged tissues by restarting the early embryonic processes in adults.
In this program we will study the effects of known or to be discovered small molecules on embryonic development and regeneration with special regard to the tissues and organs of the head and neck region.
