Description of the research topic:

The ever increasing demands imposed by various application tasks needs the theoretical development of robust control techniqiues,
such as control methods based on the linear variable parameter (LPV) paradigm, and their effective application in practice.
An important problem is the comparison and evaluation of different, already planned or given, control algorithms,
the analysis of the design algorithms of individual LPV control strategies.
Research goals:
- Examine the system-theoretic properties and guaranteed performances of linear variable-parameter control schemes that can be effectively used in vehicle dynamics tasks.
- Develop an efficient procedure for the analysis of controllers, and then, based on this, for the synthesis procedures that guarantees better performances.
- Investigate what guaranteed robust performance is achieved by the given controllers and develop an efficient algorithm for its evaluation.
