Description of the research topic:
This is an 8-years-old retrospective oncological study. Our region is mostly affected by the incidence of head and neck cancers. We would like to know the exact reasons. This study investigates: localization (oral cavity, hypopharynx, epipharynx, larynx, and paranasal sinuses), stadium (TNM8), p16 positivity, socio-economical properties, industrial activities, age, gender, risk factors, and living place, etc. We also would like to invetigate the Ecog stages, the operability, the resecability and long-time results. Sarcopenia index is an also important factor. Results also will be compared to histopathological findings. This study is very interesting and unconventional in Hungary. Our study has been started, we have the permission of the institunial ethical board.
