Description of the research topic:

This topic aims the work out of an elimination method by that nasal carriage of S. aureus can be ceased. For that purpose essential oils and their active compounds is intended to be used, by targeting the expression of both the host and bacterial factors contributing to succesful colonisation S. aureus.
