Description of the research topic:

The experience of pain and the reaction to pain depend to a large extent on the education of the affected person, their beliefs about pain, their social status, and their current psychological and physical condition.
With the widespread spread of digitalization, Internet use (both for work and personal purposes) has now become an integral part of the modern lifestyle, as mentioned above. In addition to being undeniably useful, it also has downsides, the compulsive, abusive use, the so-called problematic internet use or internet addiction is still the subject of professional debates.
In addition to the well-known lifestyle factors, such as poor nutrition, stress and poor posture, some aspects of 21st century life and digitalization (especially with regard to abusive use) can also cause or worsen various types of pain, including chronic back pain and headaches. they can walk.
The aim of our program is to assess the ratio of digital device use and possible problematic use in different target groups and to reveal the precise relationship with various chronic and neuropathic pain syndromes, such as primary headaches or low back pain with a neuropathic component.
