Description of the research topic:
Spectral imaging (SI) combines scanning or non-scanning imaging with spectroscopic measurement technique. Recent technical and scientific developments have brought the capacity of SI to provide spectrally, spatially and temporally detailed spatial information. Spectral imaging technologies and their applications with 3D reconstruction capacities are of high interest in spatial sciences (geosciences, agriculture, ecology, environmental sciences etc.). The successful applicant understands the available spectral technologies and theories and is able to develop and integrate them into a selected application field.
Required language skills: English Further requirements: Expertise in remote sensing and geoinformatics
