Description of the research topic:

Polyurethane (PU) foams are appearing in the automotive industry as a material for many interior elements. The proper production of foams is a rather complicated process, in which, in addition to setting the parameters of the raw materials, the optimization of the parameter set of the production cell also plays an important role. In this research, a semi-industrial polyurethane production line will be tested, and the programs of the injection robot will be optimized. The optimization will enable the development and trial production of industrially important PU systems
