Description of the research topic:
Companies can already reach half of the global population via social media, and Facebook has an increasing number of competitors with the aspiration to become the leading social media platform. The ratio of screen-based interactions increases in social contacts, shopping, or entertainment. Purchasing behavior and customer interaction processes have transformed and are still altering. The number of user-generated content has significantly increased, while more companies try to utilize them in their marketing activities.
In the framework of the research topic, the following questions can be analysed (among others):
- What is the role of digital solutions in different stages of the customer purchasing decision process?
- Which alternative digital marketing tools can break the through the noise around customers?
- Can content marketing become a solution for increasing use of ad-blockers?
- Can influencers be considered as efficient tools for reaching generations Z and Alpha?
