Description of the research topic:
Sociological and sociographic analyzes - showing the specific features of each region of the country, the way of life of the people living there - in each case drew attention to the differences that can be interpreted from a territorial point of view. These differences are well demonstrated on both the demographic, social and labor market sides.
The links between demographic and socio - economic processes have been proven many times over. However, the relationships are not straightforward. Within the framework of the topic, the connections can be explored. For example, what processes lead to a decrease in the population of smaller settlements and a change in their demographic structure? On the other hand, it can be examined, for example, how the competitiveness of individual regions and settlements is shaped and influenced by demographic changes. Within the framework of the topic e.g. the territorial development of the following factors can be analyzed: life expectancy, birth rate, migration, aging indicators, education, family structure, mortality rates, poverty, social structure, social network, economic structure, etc.
