Description of the research topic:
On basis of numerical and quasi field test measurements quasi null arrays may provide the possibility significantly increasing the imaging capacity of geoelectric arrays. Its verification requires numerous field studies and further development of the software which is needed to invert quasi null array data. The principal questions of the research to be solved: whether the quasi null arrays are really more suitable to detect and characterise small-size targets and small variations in the electrical resistivity than the traditional geoelectric arrays? For which model may this statement be right?
Required language skills: English Further requirements: Basic knowledge of geology and geophysics, especially in the subject of geoelectric methods.
