Description of the research topic:

This research line investigates, from an empirical angle, similarities and differences in the associations that people from different cultures and linguistic backgrounds form with colours. Through a mixed-methods design of quantitative (reaction time tests, surveys, rating tasks) and qualitative enquiry (semi-structured interviews), this research line seeks to advance our understanding of the basis for such associations (that can be based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, bodily experiences and/or cultural models, among others).
