Description of the research topic:

Nowadays in the knowledge based economy innovation is considered to be the driving force of the economy. Innovation and technological development modified significantly the market conditions in the field of health and pharmaceutical industry. The spread of high technology appliances considerably changed the traditional doctor/pharmacist and patient relationships. That’s why currently we can speak about doctor/pharmacist and client relationships. As a consequence of consumers’ increasing demand and active engagement towards health and pharmaceutical products innovative technologies gained a significant role in the consumer education, disease treatment, clinical decision support, doctor/pharmacist and client communication as well as in the increase of the administration effectiveness.
