Der Gesetzesartikel Nr. XVIII/1840 enthielt die ersten gesellschaftsrechtlichen Vorschriften Ungarns. Das Forschungsprojekt untersucht die Entstehung des Gesetzes und seine praktische Bedeutung; zudem soll der Einfluss auf die handelsrechtlichen Kodifikationsbemühungen im Deutschen Bund analysiert werden.
