Description of the research topic:

The wastewater treatment is now increasingly being carried out with the application of physicochemical tools/methods. This is especially important in the case of any recyclable materials from process wastewaters. The halogen content of the wastewater also should be removed (AOX discharge). Under the research topic these opportunities are investigated on real chemical wastewaters. Possible physicochemical methods: distillation, rectification, membrane filtration, pervaporation. The applicability of these methods are investigated and reseached to find th ebest option for each process wastewater.
