Description of the research topic:

Most of the chronic illnesses of the civilised world could be originated in lifestyle factors. A great majority of the population eat more than needed to their physical activity. In addition there is a crude imbalance present in nutritional composition.
On the other hand, the change of an established life style is a very long process. The support of the change of life style is unsatisfactory on current supplier side of the health care system struggling constant capacity deficit.
By the development of info-communication technologies and by reduced cost of these systems, more and more people can be reached by these informatics solutions supporting life style. Meals and physical activity can be logged at the right place of the activity. Nevertheless a prompt feedback can be managed about the formation of the users’ energy-balance. Furthermore, these detailed data can be controlled and consulted from distance.
Based on our earlier experiences on these development directions, our team is going to perform clinical research that attempts to change lifestyle effectively on the bases of supervising one’s physical activity, nourishment and stress level.
