Description of the research topic:

Real estate market is one of the key sources of risk in the banking system
and has a special role in the economy. As residential property is the main asset households in
many countries, consumption and saving decisions are strongly influenced by house prices. In the
corporate sector, property prices and number of transactions influences demand for new
investments, and ultimately influences the construction industry and its suppliers.
