Description of the research topic:

The development of molecular biological processes allowed fast, almost real time execution of the analysis of tumorous and normal tissues. This is how materialized the spectrometry based “Onco-knife” or the real time PCR based Light-cycler technique. But the spread of this processes is hindered by the fact that the molecular marker of tumours is undefined before intervention, consequently cannot be informative with regarding to complete resection.
In our study, we compare the molecular properties of liquid biopsy with the tumorous and normal parts of fresh samples of our biobank. We pay attention to the duration of analysis and we define the difference between molecular results and classical frozen section based pathological examination.
